Pebble Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy outlines how Pebble ("we", "our", or "the application") handles your information. Pebble is an event countdown utility application for iOS and macOS.

Information Collection and Use

Personal Event Data

All personal data related to your events—including titles, dates, notes, and background images—is:

• Stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData/Core Data framework.
• Never accessed by us. We cannot see, read, or access your event details.
• Never sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the application. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally or contain the content of your events.

What we track:

• App Usage: Features used (e.g., creating an event, adding a widget), session duration, and crash reports.
• Device Information: Device model, OS version, and app version.

What we do NOT track via Analytics:

• Content: We do NOT track the names of your events, your notes, your photos, or your specific dates.
• Identity: We do not link usage data to your personal identity.

Data Storage

Local Storage

Your event data and preferences are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud backups enabled on your device, this data may be backed up to your personal iCloud account, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Analytics Data

Anonymous analytics data is processed by PostHog. You can review PostHog's privacy policy here.

Third-Party Access

Aside from the anonymous analytics data sent to PostHog as described above, Pebble does not share any information with third parties.

User Rights

Access and Deletion

• Event Data: You have full control over your event data. You can modify or delete your events directly within the app at any time. Deleting the app will delete all local data associated with it.
• Analytics: Because analytics data is anonymous and not linked to your personal identity, we cannot retrieve or delete specific analytics entries upon request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated policy will be available within the application or on our App Store listing.
